This week, our editor tried making banana cake with the kiddos at home - filming this #WFH vid with her little men took from early noon till night (you can see the change in lighting outside the windows - wait for the bloopers at the end!) but it was all worth it when the cake came out of the oven (it tasted so good, there was none left by the next morning). “This family recipe was passed down from my aunty years ago - she added choc chips to the banana cakes she made for my family because she knew that we loved chocolate-everything! Tip: To really get that depth of flavour, use bananas that are really ripe... and I mean REALLY RIPE (the patches of black should already be showing up on the banana skin).”
