Ken Tan, gallery director of an art gallery in New York, does not regret his mischievous youth. His days of shoplifting, hanging out at Far East Plaza and getting up to no good, are long gone, but they have shaped him in many ways. The creative go-getter with a keen eye for art, who used to run an agency as well as food and beverage outlets, was offered a job in New York last year and jumped at the chance.
